The area was formed in 1974 in Spalding by an ex London member, Frank Hands. Although the first meeting was attended by only 8 people, word quickly spread and withun 3 months had reached 29,

The intial sucess of the club was down to three peiple, Frank Hands, Bill Scott and George Parke and in 1990 a record number of 107 members was achieved. Unfortunately, iver theyrats membership numbers have dropped but good support of the annual Ladies’ Evening continued.,
