History of the Lancashire Area
The East Lancs Area of the Transport Managers’ Club was formed in 1948. This small social club for Transport Operators quickly grew to encompass the whole of the Lancashire and was therefore renamed in 1991 and the word “East” deleted from its title to what is now known simply as “The Lancashire Area” .
