Lancashire Area

The East Lancs Area of the Transport Managers’ Club was formed in 1948.  This small social club for Transport Operators quickly grew to encompass the whole of the Lancashire and was therefore renamed in 1991 and the word “East” deleted from its title to what is now known simply as “The Lancashire Area

Monthly meetings have been held at Ye Horns Inn, Goosnargh, near Preston since 1963 when the meeting times were changed from lunch time to evenings.

The membership of the area has renained very loyal throughout the year supporting meetings with Guest speakers, the anual Ladiws’ Evening and Christmas parties.
