The area was formed in 1970 under the Chairmanship of J Harrison with monthly meetings being held at The Royal Court Hotel in Shoreham-by-Sea.

Monthly meetings have been held at various venues over the years but we are now settled near Henfield.

The area suffered a decline during the mid 1980s but with help from other areas Nationally and National Officers, the area recovered to be one of the most active

of the current areas remaining.

Social functions continue to be held each year with a Black Tie Ladies’ Evening in February and an outing in the summer. Both events are well attended

by members, friends and guests.
