Sussex Area (continued)
Sussex area was formed in 1970 under the Chairmanship of J Harrison.The first monthly meetings were held at The Royal Court Hotel in Shoreham-by-sea.
The area suffered a decline during the mid 1980s but with the help from other areas Nationally and National Oficers the area recovered to be one of the most active areas remaining.
Social functions continue to be held each year with a Black Tie Ladies’ Evening held each February. A summer barbeque and an outing inAugust always prove popular with members and guests.
