History of the Stoke Area (continued)
Stoke Area originally started out as The National Guild of Transport Managers, but in 1975 became recognised within the National Transport Managers’ Club.
Monthly meetings were held at various locations over the years but the Alsager Golf Club became the base when the last meetings were held. The area held regular social events as well as the Annual Black Tie Ladies’ Evenings but sadly, due to lack of members, no monthly meetings are currently being held.
